2019 Ungstein Scheurebe VDP.Ortswein trocken "SP", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, smoky and clearly vegetable, slightly yellow-spicy aroma of partly candied citrus fruits with aromas clearly reminiscent of mustard gherkins and herbaceous tones. Ripe, tangy, somewhat melted fruit, smoky, light wood notes, fine acidity and a noticeable tannin touch, still slightly drying on the palate, lasting, good substance, chalky mineral tones, a little bacon and vanilla, hinted yellow spice, some depth, firm structure, has melodiousness, power and warmth, very good, firm, tart, juicy and light wood-spicy finish with fine vegetable tones and mustard seed. Must mature
