2016 Ungstein Scheurebe trocken -SP-, Ortswein, Pfalz, Germany

Firm nose, light vegetal and herbaceous noites, prominent mineral notes, citrus and a hint of black berries, capers, some yellow spice, touch of nutty oak, floral traces. Concentrated, bone dry, tart juicy fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal and herbaceous aromas, peppery, earthy and mineral notes, lively acidity, fairly prominent ripe tannins, some more nutty oak, some sugar candy in the background, cassis, black berries and capers, firm grip, good depth, still young, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, fairly full-bodied, noticeable tobacco in the background, dark spice on a very good tart, juicy finish.
