2015 Ungstein Herrenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Slightly warm nose, light nutty and vegetal notes, restrained yellow fruit, hint of ripe gooseberries, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, vegetal, yeasty and light earthy notes, fairly prominent acidity, tannins still very slightly astringent, persistent, quite firm, full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, but not heavy, cool mineral notes, fresh herbs and some pepper, very good finish.
