2022 Oberrotweil Spätburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

Herbal, somewhat nutty, underbrushy, earthy and tobacco-like scent of more black than red berries, smoky barrel tones and leathery nuances. Ripe, juicy, quite dense fruit, youthful, yet rather fine, relatively tender tannin, a certain acidity bite, lasting on the palate, a hint of meatiness, fresh plant-like nuances, some depth, mineral hints, very good, firm, herbal-juicy finish with a little pepper, tobacco and tobacco ash.
