The winery is located in the municipality of Siebeldingen (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. Eduard Rebholz and his son Hans are regarded in the Southern Palatinate as quality pioneers for fully fermented, dry wines. Since 1978, Hansjörg Rebholz and his wife Birgit have been responsible for the third generation. Their sons Hans and Valentin are studying viticulture and oenology. The vineyard area covers 22 hectares in the VDP Grossen Lagen Kastanienbusch, Mandelberg (Birkweiler) and Im Sonnenschein with the Gewann or cadastral site Ganz Horn (Siebeldingen), as well as VDP "Erste Lagen" Rosenberg (Arzheim), Latt (Albersweiler), Münzberg (Godramstein) and Biengarten (Frankweiler).
They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (40%), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Muscat, Silvaner and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as Pinot Noir. Since 1989, the best white and red Burgundy wines have been aged in barriques and marketed under the designation "R" without indicating the vineyard. The premium wines include the "Grosse Gewächse“ Riesling, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc from the Im Sonnenschein (Gewann "Ganz Horn"), Kastanienbusch and Mandelberg sites, as well as the bottle-fermented sparkling wine "R" PiNo Gold. Pomace brandies are also produced. The winery is a member of the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
