2019 trocken Cuvée Grande Reserve, Vienna, Austria

Tart, somewhat smoky, nutty and slightly tobacco aroma of predominantly dark berries and a little cherry with leathery hints and a hint of paprika. Ripe, firm, rather dark fruit with bitter-chocolatey wood notes, fine sandy tannin, good substance and persistence, some depth, hints of tar, dry herbs and pepper, some warmth, slightly green tones, a hint of Brazil nut and salt in the very good, slightly drying finish.
