2021 Michelfeld Himmelberg Blaufränkisch trocken, Baden, Germany

Nutty, spicy oak, predominantly dark berries on the nose, light roasted and smoky notes, some mushrooms, tobacco and earthy tones. Fairly taut, youthful, quite cool dark, tart fruit, roasted and smoky oak notes, some persistence, medium strength, a little salt in the background, has bite, peppery spice, good to very good finish with dark juice and roasted notes.
