A fine nutty and slightly buttery aroma with core fruit notes, a hint of red berries, and subtle bamboo shoots with a touch of tobacco and tobacco ash. Clear, tart, and cool fruit, firm and completely dry, very fine acidity, a bit of grip, nutty and subtly mushroomy aromas, fine vegetable tones, bright minerality in the background, a hint of tobacco, some depth, good sustainability, ethereal traces, and a very good, firm finish. This dense and uncompromisingly tart style may also convince those who usually reflexively reject Pinot Gris.
