2019 trocken "Cuvée Gustav", Pfalz, Germany

Tart, warm, a little earthy aroma of more black than red berries and a little cherries with slightly vegetal, floral and undergrowth notes. Quite tart fruit with some acid bite and present, somewhat drying tannins, earthy and dried vegetal tones on the palate, woody notes, a hint of mushrooms and pepper, noticeable alcohol, a touch of salt, somewhat rustic character, not very deep, slightly drying even in the alcoholic finish.
