2017 Gewürztraminer Spätlese, Pfalz, Germany

Vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes on the nose, partly candied citrus fruit, hint of honey and some dark berries. Clear, juicy, very sweet fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, vegetal, herbaceous and delicate floral notes, hint of dark berries again, good persistence and substance, virtually has the character of an Auslese, nutty traces, light mineral notes in the background, some depth, still young, very elegant spicy notes on a very good firm, sweet finish.
