2016 Godramstein Stahlbühl Chardonnay VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Light vegetal and floral notes on the nose, pomaceous fruit aromas, hint of citrus fruit and peaches. Straightforward fruit on the palate, nutty and very light floral aromas, spicy traces reminiscent of caraway seed, hint of caramel, touch of blanched fennel, sweetish and creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, moderate acidity, good finish.

Editor note: Light vegetal notes on the nose, citrus and a hint of green apple and stone fruit, floral and yeasty traces, touch of mustard seed, buttery traces, hint of rubber. Citrussy fruit on the palate, more green apples, lively acidity, light tannic touch, not particularly deep, yeasty and nutty traces,, slightly sweetish, hint of caraway seed, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightly rough, salty mineral traces, some fennel on a fairly good finish.
