Onion-skin colour. Yeasty nose, light oak and a hint of tobacco, some bacon, restrained citrus fruit, fairly mature pomaceous and stone fruit, earthy and mineral traces. Polished, fairly tart fruit on the palate, partly ground nuts, sea salt and Sumatra tobacco, touch of spicy oak, fine sandy tannins, earthy and mineral traces, very good persistence and substance, fairly firm structure, full body, good to very good finish.
