2014 Godramstein Spätburgunder trocken Kalkgestein, Pfalz, Germany

Light nutty notes on the nose, floral traces, ripe red berries, light ethereal and spicy notes. Ripe, partly preserved red fruit on the palate, quite juicy, light nutty oak, elegant acid bite, good persistence, light floral notes in the background, light salty and chalky mineral notes, hint of smoked bacon, oak becomes more prominent with aeration, some depth, very good finish.
