2022 Asselheim Goldberg Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Lightly nutty, tobacco-like and a hint of meaty aroma with more black and blue than red berries and earthy nuances. Bitter, rather slender fruit, smoky, nutty and slightly bittersweet wood, also tobacco notes, a bit of herbs and salt, crumbly-sandy, slightly drying tannins, some acidity, not too deep, bitter, very slightly brittle finish.
