2016 Štajerska Slovenija Sauvignon Blanc "Private Selection", Podravje, Slovenia

Developed, tart, clearly dried vegetal nose, somewhat reminiscent of root vegetables with restrained nutty, floral and yellow fruity aromas. Ripe, tart, somewhat warm fruit, slightly drying tannin, nutty to hints of woody notes, a little muted on the palate, slightly sweet melting, clearly vegetal flavours, hints of black berries, a little rustic style, good to very good, again warm and a little drying finish.
