2019 Dirmstein Mandelpfad Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm dense and deep, fine vegetal to herbaceous scent with rather noble yellow fruity aromas, floral traces, a little fennel and light minerality. Clear, again tightly knit, almost compelling, juicy, quite dense fruit with some melting, but without any sweetness, very fine acidity and still a little carbonic acid, lasting, dense and powerful, good depth, quite clear minerality, has substance, more and more gripping phenolic, nutty to slightly woody hints, very good, firm, tart and grippy finish with a hint of white pepper. Needs a lot of air at the moment, gains up to the 4th day and should definitely still mature.
