2015 Beutelsbach Sonnenberg Chardonnay trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Nutty, vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, partly candied citrus and pomaceous fruit, slightly smoky light oak, hint of bacon and some sugar candy. Ripe, sweetish, juicy, slightly warm fruit on the palate, herbs and yellow spice, nutty oak, slightly smoky, lively acidity, some sugar candy and salty notes, full body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, delicate grip, fairly prominent acidity, becomes more elegant with aeration, candied citrus fruit on a very good finish.
