2021 Wiesoppenheim Am heiligen Häuschen Fränkischer Burgunder trocken aus Versuchsanbau, Rheinhessen, Germany

Calm, somewhat tobacco and restrainedly barrel-woody nose with slightly muted notes of predominantly dark berries and earthy tones. Lean, straightforward fruit, a hint of marmalade, slightly smoky, undergrowthy, mushroomy and earthy tones, suitable acidity, moderate, slightly drying tannin, hints of pepper in the background, also salty hints, medium power, quite good, albeit again somewhat drying finish.
