2022 Osthofen Pinot Noir, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, quite firm cherry aroma with fine red and black berry flavours, floral nuances, herbs, a hint of meat and moderate wood spice. Quite juicy, tart fruit, fresh vegetal to herbaceous tones, somewhat smoky barrel notes, lively acidity, crumbly-sandy tannins, good persistence, meaty and peppery nuances, salt and chalky tones in the background, not too deep, good to very good, tart-juicy finish.
