2022 Bechtheim Geyersberg Pinot Noir, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly firm, rather cool, delicately smoky, finely vegetal nose with aromas of red and black berries and cherries, some herbs and floral nuances. Polished, clear, tart, juicy, youthful fruit, some bite and relatively present, yet quite fine tannins, hints of smoky notes on the palate, some dark spice, also herbal nuances and a hint of cocoa, elegant style, possesses freshness, very good, firm, again tart, juicy and finely spicy finish with some salt and also chalky minerality.
