2021 Bechtheim Geyersberg Riesling, Rheinhessen, Germany

Relatively cool, planty to herbal citrus nose with peach notes and light floral tones, a little mussel shell and hints of seaweed. Juicy, not completely dry yellow fruit with nutty aromas, some yeast, herbs and a hint of dark fruit, also a little yellow spice on the palate, lively acidity and grip of ripe, very slightly sandy tannin, persistent, has power, chalky-salty and slightly stony mineral tones, also mussel shells and seaweed again, very good, quite tight finish with rather light juice.
