2013 Spätburgunder Reserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, slightly nutty, tobacco, smoky and dried-mushy nose, black and red berries, earthy notes. Ripe, slightly creamy and quite juicy fruit on the palate, nutty and delicate tobacco, dried mushrooms in the background, mature tannins, good persistence, hint of herbs in the background, some candy, light milky traces, good to very good, hint of pepper on the palate.
