Somewhat vegetal to herbaceous, nutty and a hint of smoky, bacon aroma of yellow fruit with light barrel notes. Rather warm, juicy, not quite dry fruit with quite clear, somewhat nutty and spicy, smoky wood flavours, fine acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, salty and chalky tones, a lot of melting and noticeable alcohol, a hint of dark berries and pine needles in the good to very good, rather soft finish.

Best to drink: 2025-2028+. What our ratings mean
