Somewhat roasted, spicy, tobacco and slightly cedary aroma of ripe, predominantly black berries and a hint of malt with some tomato paste, black olives and Mediterranean herbs. Ripe dark fruit with smoky, sooty and roasted wood, slightly malty on the palate, crumbly-sandy, slightly drying tannins, Mediterranean herbs again, light coffee tones, tomato-vegetable flavours in the background, has power, not really fine, but well made, very good finish.
