Somewhat nutty, smoky and tobacco aroma of ripe blackcurrants and a little dried tomato with rather dark, slightly cedary wood aromas and a little allspice. Warm, partly preserved, a touch sweetish fruit, smoky roasty wood, still slightly drying tannin, some persistence, noticeable alcohol, not very deep, a little rustic character, cocoa and coffee on the palate, good to very good, high alcohol, slightly brittle finish.
