2017 Untertürkheim Mönchberg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat tobacco aroma of predominantly black berries with dried herbal, earthy and undergrowth notes, dried mushrooms and a hint of pepper. Ripe, rather tart dark fruit with slightly toasty wood flavours, fine, relatively present tannin, spicy nuances, slightly earthy and dried mushroomy, good persistence, certain minerality, very good, quite firm finish with tart juice and spice
