2019 Roxheim Höllenpfad im Mühlenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Cool, polished and noble citrus stone fruit nose with delicate herbaceous and floral nuances, very delicate vegetable tones, hinted smoke, and certain minerality. Tart, juicy, rather reserved fruit, clearly vegetal to herbaceous notes, also reminiscent of pesto, lots of ripe tannin, still slightly smoky to bacon-like reduction tones, lasting, quite deep, still completely undeveloped, intensive, stony minerality, very firm structure, pithy, almost robust, a little green tomato, very good to long, tart, juicy and again incredibly mineral finish
