2016 Niederhausen Hermannshöhle Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm, cool nose, stone fruit, hint of citrus, still yeasty, herbs, white pepper, light floral traces, minty notes, prominent mineral notes. Clear, elegant, juicy, polished fruit on the palate, still fairly restrained, and overpowered by intense mineral notes, yeasty notes, slightly sweetish, fairly prominent integrated tannins, light floral notes, hint of vanilla, touch of raisins, good persistence and depth, largely undeveloped, hint of hot chili, hint of black berries and more yeasty aromas, very good firm, grippy, slightly sweetish and juicy finish.
