1999 Dürkheim Feuerberg St. Laurent trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Quite deep, brilliant purple, slightly lighter on the rim. Restrained, slightly smoky nose with spicy oak, aromas of plums and black berries. Soft, juicy fruit, very fine-grained, almost silky tannins, full-bodied style with harmonious spicy oak on the palate, excellent balance, very enjoyable to drink, attractive finish.
