2018 Odenheim Königsbecher Pinot Noir VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Somewhat toasty and a hint of mushroomy scent of ripe black and some red berries with slightly tobacco barrel tones, floral traces and a little leather and liquorice. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with dark, smoky and sooty-roasty wood spice, quite present, fine sandy, ripe tannin, good persistence, some warmth, ashy tones, a little herbs, pepper and juniper, a hint of salt, very good finish with dark juice, a little liquorice and dark ethereal spice.
