2020 Weinheim Kapellenberg Riesling trocken "Felskopf", Rheinhessen, Germany

Nutty, distinctly dried vegetal and a hint of tobacco with yellow fruity, earthy and waxy tones, a little smoke, medicinal herbs, hints of dark berries and a hint of woodruff. Firmly woven, dry, quite juicy fruit, noticeable acid bite and present, somewhat sandy tannin, planty notes, a little iodine and floral nuances, black berry hints in the background, a little citrus zest, again also wax, very good, if a touch drying finish.
