Clear, firm, tart aroma of predominantly black berries with a little smoke, dried herbal and slightly tobacco aromas and a hint of pepper. Taut, tangy, again rather dark fruit, smoky and peppery-spicy flavours, a little roast and coffee, persistent, clearly salty, has grip of youthful, crumbly tannin, some depth, very good, juicy and spicy finish.
