Firm, slightly smoky and tobaccoy, somewhat wood-spicy aroma of more black than red berries with dry herb aromas and pepper. Firm, tangy fruit with nutty, slightly toasty and coffee-spicy wood flavours, fine sandy tannin and some bite, persistent on the palate, smoky and salty hints, also a little pepper, a hint of bacon, some depth, very good, tart, again firm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
