Editor note: Prominent spicy oak on the nose, smoky and roasted notes, preserved black berriesm earthy and mineral notes, touch of bacon, vegetal notes. Clear, polished, elegant and juicy fruit on the palate, spicy oak, smoky and roasted notes, sugar candy and some dark caramel in the background, more earthy, mineral and herbaceous notes, fairly prominent fine tannins, has substance, full-bodied and creamy, but also has a light, elegant acid bite, good persistence and has some depth, contoured, juicy with tart spice on a very good long finish. Either the first sample was faulty, or we completely underestimated this wine.
