2002 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet, Alto Adige, Italy

Spicy oak on the nose, blackcurrants and blueberries, with smoky notes. Initially open and juicy in teh mouth, spicy roasted and slightly smoky oak notes, good persistence on the palate, tart notes, which become increasingly strong with aeration, medium-fine tannins, increasing bitter notes, progressively deteriorates after opening, becomes leaner, attractive finish.
