2021 Schozach Lemberger VDP.Ortswein trocken ***, Württemberg, Germany

Clear cherry nose with dark berry aromas, some pepper, herbs and tones reminiscent of tree bark. Clear, juicy, rather cool fruit, herbal, delicately smoky, peppery and nutty tones, again a little tree bark, also a certain woody flavour, youthful, yet crumbly tannin, some bite, good persistence, salty and slightly chalky minerality, still young, slightly ethereal spice, very good finish.
