2016 Schozach Merlot trocken **, Ortswein, Württemberg, Germany

Clear nose, predominantly red and a few black berries, hint of cherries, floral traces. Ripe red fruit on the palate, light nutty oak, restrained, integrated tanins, some substance and persistence, fairly soft style, bone dry, hint of tobacco in the background, good to very good finish.
