2015 Schozach Roter Berg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Tart nose, light earthy and dried vegetal notes, oak, preserved blackberries, undergrowth, light meaty notes. Ripe, partly preserved, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, light yeasty notes, mushrooms, nutty oak, fine sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, vanilla and raspberries in the background, hint of smoked bacon, light malted notes and sage, cloves in the background, hint of dried tomatoes, very good finish with slightly noticeable warm alcohol.
