2014 Schozach Roter Berg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Clear nose, cherries and mixed berries, light herbaceous and peppery notes, hint of tobacco, mineral traces in the background. Fairly juicy, firm fruit on the palate, dried vegetal and earthy notes, some oak, light acid bite, fairly prominent tannins, light smoky notes, coffee grounds, light leathery traces, earthy and salty mineral notes, fairly full-bodied, delicately sweetish and creamy, peppery spice, becomes firmer with aeration, more salty and light herbaceous notes, toasted, spicy oak on a very good juicy finish.Give it some more time to mature.
