2009 Forst Ungeheuer Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Tart, firm, somewhat dried-vegetable, almost cool citrus and stone fruit aroma with distinct minerality and tobacco traces. Ripe, juicy, fairly dense, sweetish fruit, very fine acidity, persistent on the palate, a hint of minerality, dried vegetal to herbaceous and light tobacco notes, rather dark minerality, certain warmth, persistent, some depth, fine grip, very good, taut finish with mineral spice and relatively noticeable sweetness.
