2009 Forst Pechstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm, relatively cool, somewhat planty peach-citrus nose with floral nuances, a hint of petrol and black berry notes. Firm, fine, juicy, sweetish fruit, very fine, quite lively acidity and delicate grip, persistent on the palate, herbal-vegetable and delicately smoky flavours, persistent, clearly mineral, again rather dark background, certain depth, tart-nutty hints, very good, juicy and grippy finish with plenty of salt and animating bite.

Muss reifen.
