2009 Spätburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Smoky and slightly woody aroma of red berries with dried herbal nuances and slightly earthy tones as well as some black berries and tobacco. Clear and dry in the mouth, ripe fruit with clear, smoky wood aromas, fine, very slightly dusty and drying tannin, good persistence on the palate, bacony tones, some minerality, quite good finish
