Festering, polished scent of ripe blackberries and a hint of sour cherries with a touch of underbrush, tobacco, hinted tar, and leather. Firm, herbaceous, rather cool-looking, dense, polished fruit, fine acidity, and present, ripe, and relatively soft tannins, lingering on the palate, slightly smoky and nutty wood, also again certain underbrush tones, some depth, good substance, still undeveloped, herbal nuances, very good, firm, herbaceous, and spicy finish.
