Quite firm, rather cool, slightly smoky aroma of black and red berries with bacony flavours, a little mushroom and herbs. Polished, tart, fresh fruit, fine, youthful tannins and some bite, smoky wood notes, a hint of coffee, good persistence, a little salt in the background, hints of dark chocolate and juniper, very good finish with bite.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
