2018 Bissersheim Held Blaufränkisch trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Clear and polished, finely spicy nose of raspberries and some blackberries with cherry nuances, a little herbs and floral hints. Clear, finely juicy, tart fruit, delicately chocolaty hints, fine acidity and mellow, yet youthful tannins, spicy tones in the background, a hint of smoke and roasting, persistent, a little minerality, elegant style, very good, finely juicy, polished finish.
