2017 Bissersheim Goldberg Riesling trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Light nutty oak on the nose, dried vegetal and earthy notes, yellow fruit, mineral notes. Ripe, slightly creamy, sweetish, juicy fruit on the palate, touch of nutty oak, light herbaceous and floral traces, elegant acidity, some sugar candy, peppery traces, mineral notes in the background, good substance, some grip and dpeth, very good juicy, sweet finish. Really does not need the slightly obtrusive residual sugar.
