2016 Bissersheim Steig Weißburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Floral and vegetal notes on the nose, yeasty and light nutty notes, citrus and partly preserved yellow fruit, fairly prominent spicy oak. Firm, fairly tart fruit on the palate, but also slightly creamy, lively acidity, light nutty notes and earthy traces, lemony notes, some mushroom, good grip, some persistence, noticeable acid bite, some oak and more noticeable lemony notes on a good to very good finish. Needs time to mature.
