2015 Bissersheim Held Blaufränkisch trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Light smoky traces and a hint of tobacco on the nose, tart spicy notes, black berries and cherries, some licorice, dried herbs and earthy notes. Clear, ripe, fairly polished juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty, smoky oak, fine tannins, still young, fairly persistent, spicy aromas, delicate acid bite, also slightly creamy, light herbs and spices on a good to very good finish with slightly jammy fruit.
