Lightly cloudy straw yellow. Somewhat vegetal to dried-herbaceous, nutty and slightly mushroomy nose of partly overripe yellow fruits with a hint of dried flowers, yellow spice, and suggested sesame. Polished, delicately sweet fruit with slightly blackberry and buttery notes, a touch of fennel and anise, lemony, somewhat forced acidity, slightly fine-grained tannin, good persistence, salty minerality, with barrel wood in the background, good to very good, slightly sweet-melting finish.
