The winery is located in the municipality of Bad Friedrichshall (Württembergisch Unterland area) in the German Württemberg
wine growing region. The formerly purely agricultural business was founded in 1993 with the construction of a building for its own wine production. A wine tavern is attached. The farm is owned by Andreas Friedauer. The vineyards comprise eight hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard Scheuerberg
(Neckarsulm), as well as in 1992 recultivated plots in the community of Kochendorf in the former single vineyard Fundelweinberg. They are planted with the red wine varieties Lemberger, Trollinger, Spätburgunder, Schwarzriesling, Regent, Samtrot and Dornfelder as well as the white wine varieties Riesling, Weißburgunder, Muskateller and Müller-Thurgau. We practice natural, environmentally friendly viticulture with the promotion of beneficial insects and airy stock management. The wines are carefully vinified by combining modern technology and old tradition. As much as possible, filtration and unnecessary pumping is avoided with the aim of producing aromatic wines. The premium wines are produced from areas of steep terraces with a greatly reduced yield of 40 to 50 kg/ha under the two designations Neckarsulmer Scheuerberg and Kochendorf.
